Youth Leader Gap Year Opportunity 

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Year Out Volunteer Youth Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to spend a year serving within the life of our church, supporting and encouraging young people as they explore faith, friendship, and community. 

The role will involve helping to lead and develop our youth ministry, including weekly youth group gatherings, Sunday activities, and occasional events or trips. You will work alongside our church leaders and volunteers to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where young people can grow in confidence and in their understanding of the Christian faith. 

We are looking for someone who is approachable, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with teenagers. A willingness to learn, take initiative, and work as part of a team is essential. Previous experience working with young people is helpful but not required. As this is a ministry role, the successful applicant should be a practising Christian, in good standing with their own church, and supportive of the values and mission of our congregation. 

A commitment to safeguarding is essential, and appropriate checks will be required. 

This year out provides a valuable opportunity to grow in faith, develop leadership skills, and gain practical experience in youth ministry. Training, support, and mentoring will be provided throughout the year.
